Privacy Policy Statement

CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd is committed to excellence in the provision of a recruitment service and complies with the National Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act, 1988. This includes protecting the privacy of all information provided by our clients and candidates. This document is the Privacy Policy of CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd, a recruitment agency providing human resource services to a range of businesses, specialising in the Insurance, Finance, Legal and related sectors, and dedicated to the successful placement of candidates in the Sydney market place.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• The personal information that CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd collects is obtained from Job Seekers, Clients and other nominated Stakeholders with their full knowledge and from diverse sources such as the Internet, phone, fax, email and post. 
• The personal information is used for the process of satisfying the human resource requirements of Clients by selecting and placing suitably screened Job Seekers in those positions. The personal information is stored securely either on paper or in electronic format. The personal information is not disclosed or used for any other purpose.
• CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd respects requests for anonymity and guarantees to only collect personal and sensitive information with prospective candidates' consent. Such consent is assumed upon our receipt of their resume or curriculum vitae, unless they inform us otherwise.
• Unless otherwise requested, CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd retains records for the statutory 7 year period.
• We do not collect personal or sensitive information unless it is important for the performance of our tasks or functions.

WHEN WE OBTAIN INFORMATION

• CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the quality of the personal information that is collected, used or disclosed is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
• CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd stores Stakeholders' personal information in secure facilities and takes reasonable steps to protect the personal information it holds from misuse, loss or unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. 
• Only authorised persons within CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd are given access to personal information. We obtain express authority from Stakeholders for their personal information to be released to a third party. 
• If Stakeholders want to view, update or have their personal information removed from CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd's database they may contact office@citywidepersonnel.com.au. No reasonable request will be denied. An administrative fee may be charged.
• This policy may be updated from time to time, but any changes will not reduce the privacy protection set out above unless required by law or otherwise beyond CityWide Personnel Pty Ltd's control, e.g. technological changes. Any such changes to this policy that adversely affect privacy protection of the Stakeholders will be reflected in this policy.
